Bobbie Calhoun

Bobbie Calhoun has been a member of Become Better since the summer of 2025. Now 78 years old she consistently shows up 2 times/week always pushing herself to do more. She always wants to try new things and show that she can do it on her own. Bobbie’s range of motion, strength, and balance have increased over the last year, but more importantly her symptoms and markers related to her Parkinson’s disease have improved remarkably. Typically with Parkinson's you are just trying to slow the disease form getting worse, but Bobbie is now in a better position today than she was a year ago.

Bobbie has embraced Become Better. She entered her first Summer Olympics this year and completed every event. Her daughter in-law Heidi was the Client of the Month winner from a couple months ago. Her grandson Adam was also a member before going off to college and the real world after. And now her Son, Heidi’s husband, has also rejoined the gym.

We are happy to have the whole family apart of our gym!
