This is a brand new format.
A guillotine fantasy football league is a ruthless elimination style where there are no head-to-head matchups. Instead, the lowest-scoring team each week is "chopped" and eliminated from the league. Their entire roster goes to the waiver wire for the surviving teams to bid on, continuing until one final champion remains.
Everyone will have $1000 to use as their waiver budget. Waivers will be blind so you have no idea what other people bid.
Extra Twist:
The Buy-in for this league will be either $50 or a burpee penalty
If you get eliminated in Week 1, you can choose to do 1600 burpees (over the course of the season) or pay $50.
If you get eliminated in Week 2, you can choose to do 1500 burpees or pay $50.
Week 3, 1400 burpees - Week 4, 1300 burpees, etc…
This will be a winner takes all. So all money can get paid directly to the champion at the end of the season. The runner up will not have to pay or do burpees.
This will be an 18 person league so that the finals finishes on week 17.
Draft will likely be a “slow draft” where we will start as soon as the league fills, then you will be given 2-4 hours per pick and go on through out a week or so. Draft will be paused at night of course. We will choose a normal draft time if possible, but it will likely be hard with 18 people
Best Ball Auction Draft League - $20 Entry - Click Here To Enter
This will be a 16-24 person league. There will be an auction draft instead of a normal snake draft. This will be chaotic but also very fun. Due to the length of time we may divide the draft into two evenings instead of just one this year.
This league is also a Best Ball League. This means that you don’t need to set your line-up every week and instead the best performers will automatically be put into your line up.

Become Better Dynasty League:
This was the first year for our Become Better Dynasty League. In this format, all participants keep their team every year. This means some teams can choose to not compete as hard this year and instead build for the future. Coach Joey was the leader all year, but unfortunately his team let him down in the playoffs. Evan came away with the big victory after barely squeeking into the playoffs with a QB room of all back-ups. He still managed to take down Coach Joey in the semi-finals and Coach Dan in the finals. Here are the final Standings/Payouts:
1st Place: Evan - $700 + 1 Apparel Item
2nd Place: Coach Dan - $300
3rd Place: Chris Dattalo - $100
Most Points: Coach Joey - $100
24 Team Large Fantasy Football League: $20 League
This was the first time trying a league this big and the first year trying an auction draft.
Coach Dan came away with the surprise victory after late comebacks in the semi-final and finals.
Brett was the last participant to join the league and was the leader all year until he was taken out in the finals by Coach Dan

Sadly Nicole, the leader all year, lost in the semi-finals so her giant point total in the final week was only good enough for 3rd place
