Become Better’s Summer Fitness Olympics 2022!

Congratulations Team Joey! Joey’s team has taken home the victory this year. All members of his team should make sure they get together and decide what prize they would like. Last year my team made championship t-shirts.

Also Contratulations to our Overall winner, Candice Chalus! Candice barely edged out the other top competitors winning by only 100 points. Jorge Garcia, Ben Avon, and Jenn Smith were all very close behind to round out the top 4.

Explanation:

Become Better’s Summer Fitness Olympics will started in the middle of May and end August 5th, 2022. Everyone who signed up was drafted to one of the coaches team’s (Coach Dan, Coach Joey, Coach Anthony, and Coach Paige combined with Intern Coach Jack. Clients will be able to accumulate points for themselves and their team by participating in the events listed below. You will have all Summer to complete these events and are more than welcome to do them multiple times for better scores. For most events, 1000 points will be given to the winner, 900 for second place, 800 for third place, ... 100 for 10th place. Everyone that simply participates and tries their best will also be given 100 points. Those that place in the top 10 will also receive this bonus 100. You may also gain 10 points by simply doing an extra 10 calories during each of your normal workouts. Those over 55 years old will also be given chances to win extra points for being in the top 3 of those eligible. One last way to gain extra points will be for those that are either trying to gain or lose weight. You will receive 20 bonus points for every pound gained (for kids) or lost during the summer. This will require a weigh-in at the start and end of Summer. At the end of the Summer we will then crown the winning team and winning individuals of each event along with the top 10 individuals who finished with the most points.
